Your Insurance coverage begins one day before and ends one day after the program dates listed on your DS-2019 form. If you are arriving before your program begins or planning to travel after your program ends and would like coverage, please fill out the form below and submit at least 2 weeks before the date you need your additional insurance coverage to begin.

Since your insurance duration coincides with your program, AAG strongly encourages all participants to purchase additional travel insurance if you plan to travel in the United States after your program ends.  After your DS-2019 end date, you have 30 days to travel in the United States before you have to return home. Your current insurance thorough Bulstrad ends 1 day after your DS-2019 end date.  This means that if you had injuries after this date and had to see a doctor, you will be responsible for all the medical bills.

Travel insurance to cover the period after your program (DS-2019) end date is available to you for $90 per month.You can only purchase travel insurance for the entire month (cannot be prorated). You must purchase this insurance at least 2 weeks before your DS-2019 end date.
