Georgia’s Motto
The state motto of Georgia is “Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation.” All State Mottos. Although Georgia legislature has never made the motto official, it appears on the state flag

- The state of Georgia is also famous for its beautiful state parks, its role in American history and the civil war, as well as subtropical climate.
- While Georgia is known as The Peach State, it also grows other fruits and vegetables. Peaches were introduced to the state in the 1500s by Franciscan monks. With a suitable climate, it is no surprise that Georgia is known for its delicious peaches.
- No list of things Georgia is famous for would be complete without sweet tea. This Southern staple is so beloved that it even has its own holiday: National Sweet Tea Day is celebrated on June 10th.
- Today, Georgia is home to a number of historical sites and museums, such as the Atlanta History Center and the Carter Presidential Library and Museum.

WHAT IS GEORGIA FAMOUS FOR?
The Varsity is the world’s largest drive-in restaurant, and it has been serving up burgers, fries, and Coca-Colas since 1928. The Varsity is famous for its chili dogs and onion rings, but it also has a menu full of other American classics, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes.

Football is one of the most popular sports in Georgia. It is governed by the Georgian Football Federation (GFF). The GFF organizes the men’s, women’s, and futsal national teams. Modern football was introduced by English sailors playing in Poti at the beginning of the 20th century.

Georgia has a subtropical climate, which means it has warm weather year-round. The average summer temperature in Georgia is around 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius), and the average winter temperature is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius). This makes Georgia a great place to visit any time of year.
