The state motto of Utah is simply “Industry.”Utah’s motto appears on the state’s coat of arms (which is featured on the state flag).

- Utah is a state in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States. At 84,899 square miles (219,887 km2), and with more than 3,271,616 million residents in 2020, it is the Thirtieth-largest U.S. state.
- Utah is a state bordered to its east by Colorado, to its northeast by Wyoming, to its north by Idaho, to its south by Arizona, and to its west by Nevada. Utah also touches a corner of New Mexico in the southeast.
- Beginning in the early 20th century, with the establishment of such national parks as Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park, Utah became known for its natural beauty.
- Southern Utah became a popular filming spot for arid, rugged scenes featured in the popular mid-century western film genre. From such films, most US residents recognize such natural landmarks as Delicate Arch and “the Mittens” of Monument Valley.

What is Utah famous for?
Utah is known to be a renowned skiing and snowboarding destination. Besides having amazing ski resorts, it is famous for having “the best snow in the world”. Today, Utah’s ski resorts are world-renowned and attract visitors from all over the globe. Some of the most popular resorts include Park City, Snowbird, Alta, and Deer Valley. The ski season generally runs from mid-November to late March
What is cool about Utah?
Sundance film festival is another thing people immediately associate with Utah. First organized in 1978, today, it is the largest independent film festival in the United States. Sundance tries to show some of the most original works from American and international filmmakers.
